Rosary Count — Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Rosary Count is published by JMJ Consultancy Services ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple: you record the rosary decades you pray, and your group sees its shared total.
The service
- Rosary Count is free to use. We may add paid features later; nothing you already use will be taken behind a paywall.
- The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it available and your entries safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and a prayer log is not a system of record for anything beyond itself.
- We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters, the app or the email that signs you in will say so.
Your account
- Your email address is your account. Keep access to it: the sign-in email is the only key, and there is no password to reset.
- You must be able to form a contract in your country to hold an account. A child may take part in a family's group under a parent's supervision on the parent's device.
- You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.
Groups and what you post
- A group's admin decides who joins their group and may remove members. We do not arbitrate parish disputes.
- What you write — an intention, a group's name, an announcement — is yours, and you are responsible for it. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, or that identifies another person against their wishes.
- Group admins can send announcements to members who opted in, capped at three a day. Using announcements for anything other than the group's own prayer life (advertising, fundraising beyond the group's own intentions, harassment) may lead to the group's removal.
- We may remove content or accounts that break these terms or the law. For photos there is a reporting route on the support page; removals are permanent and audited.
Honest counting
The totals are only meaningful because people enter what they actually prayed. Entries that are plainly fabricated to inflate a group's or the world's total may be corrected or removed by the group's admin or by us. The chain is not a leaderboard, and there is nothing to win.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
